YAY its finished… And no, that is no kind of fur :3
So, he is some kind of genetic creation, or something? I mean, because of his cutie mark, and… the leg.
Let me explain you… Obviously, every life form is a Genetic Creation (In one way or another)… Maybe the term you are looking for is an Artificial Organic Life-Being… And, no, it is not XD… Gene is infected with the VEM-1 virus (From another one of my blogs, it basically turn ponies into Zombies… The Infected Zombies), but his inmunologic system beat and absorved the virus into the organism, making Gene capable of transmutating its body at will (Yes, [Prototype] inspired)… Now, the CM is not because of that… Gene was a Genetic Engineer, specialized in Transgenesis (Passing genes from one DNA chain to another one) back to Eden (his natal city), Place where he gets his CM… The CM (Winged DNA Chain) represents his ability to change freely (Wings… Yes, i use the stereotipes of Wings=Freedom XD) the DNA (DNA Chain) whenever he wants… This is what i can tell you from Gene, the rest is story… I must tell it later :3](http://25.media.tumblr.com/04f9c7277711f455cb68ea0bbf500a61/tumblr_mlkmfjeiDG1rqgjzzo1_500.png)
